Repair policies.
Please review these general terms before leaving a device for service. Add your exact local business terms before publishing.
Diagnosis and authorization
Diagnosis may require disassembly and testing. No repair beyond approved diagnostic work should begin without customer authorization.
Data and backups
Customers should back up important data when possible. Repair work can involve data-loss risk, and data recovery is not guaranteed.
Parts and estimates
Estimates may change if hidden damage is discovered. Parts availability, shipping and device condition can affect timing.
Liquid and prior damage
Liquid damage, corrosion, prior repair attempts and board damage can make outcomes unpredictable. Additional faults may appear during service.
Testing and warranty
Any warranty should cover only the specified repair and supplied part. It should exclude new damage, misuse, liquid, impact, tampering and unrelated faults.
